Window period question

For hsv

The window period starts the day you were exposed or the day you notice your first symptom?

The window period starts day you had the encounter.

So whatever day you had sex (or oral sex) is day 1. If you had sex really late at night, you can count the next day as day 1, but one day isn't going to make any real difference, so it doesn't matter much.
