Scared STD?

Hello, thank you for the much needed job you are doing.
About nine days ago I had an encounter with unknown woman whom I met at the bar after a lot of drinks. It ended in the hotel room with kissing and a lot of oral sex giving and receiving, didn't actually get to the intercourse part. Next day I started freaking out looking in my mouth fifty times a day, worrying about every sensation. Well five days after i  thought my lip had swell up a bit so i got scared that it could be a beginning of herpes outbrake i put a cotton ball soaked in 70% alcohol for about 2 hours, after searching on the internet i also bought abreva cream and LLysine which i started using right after. On the next day the swelling went completely away but I developed a burning sensation on my front upper gums and right behind front upper teeth, have started gargling my mouth with salty water, seems to relieve the burning for a little time. Its day nine after exposure, went to the doctor, he said there are no visible signs of any ulcers and didn't know what can cause the burning - Im freaking out, herpes ? syphylis? warts? . What could this be ? What STD's could i have gotten that way, so i know what to get tested for? Could I have burned my gums with alcohol? I never had herpes or any other STD's in the past.
Thank you once again for your time.

Thank you very much for such a fast response, I will check with the dentist about that and if you don't mind will tell you the results. Hope its nothing but cant help to notice that it happened such a short time after possible exposure and its mind twisting. Thank you for being there for a complete stranger.

The only thing I can think of that MIGHT is if you had a syphilis sore on your tongue, but it wouldn't be a tiny red dot.

You might see your dentist about that.

At a week and a half, your gonorrhea, chlamydia and NGU tests are accurate.  When you go back, just test for syphilis, HIV and herpes.

Hi auntiejessi,
I did all std tests and they all came back negative. The doctor told me that the tests are inconclusive because it was still to early to tell after a week and a half after possible exposure and that I have to come back in 12 weeks to retest.I will retest again but at least the test results gave me a little piece of mind.
Now a different symptom showed up, two days ago I was eating a salad with oil and vinegar dressing and felt a little sting on my tongue, yesterday and today I got the same reaction to ketchup, feels as if I burned that spot on my tongue with something hot. I look at my tongue in the mirror and it looks like at the stinging spot there is a tiny red dot, almost like a tiny pimple. I think my tongue feels a bit ruff. I have never had that before.
Are there any std's that would show up like a reaction to acidic food on the tongue? What could this be? What medical specialty would deal with that?
Thank you very much once again.

None of this is sounding like an std, and might well be anxiety.  Why not go to an std clinic so you can get an opinion from a doctor who does nothing but diagnose and treat stds?

Thank you very much for your response, I really need someones opinion. Could not concentrate at work for a second, waited to get home and see if anyone responded, really thank you.
You are probably right and I am over treating myself without any information about the condition.  But i really feel all of these things and it makes me very worried. I have developed some kind of a tingling and itch under my scrotum but don't think there is a rash there, also, two days ago right underneath the penis head i felt some sort of tingling but my doctor said there was nothing abnormal visible so i didn't mention it yesterday, but today that spot is clearly swollen up, looks like a little longish bump but its soft to the touch, its not red, it doesn't hurt at all, just very slight discomfort at that spot. My lips are dry and I'm coming down with a fever. I am freaking out about all of this, will go to a different doctor to get this looked at. If you have any idea about what all of these symptoms could mean please tell me. Thank you.

You put alcohol right on your gums?  That, coupled with all the salt water, could be causing burning.

To be really honest, I think you are over reacting, and you need to chill on these treatments.  Well over half the population has hsv1, and you could get it (if you don't already have it) from kissing any one.

I'd stop using all of it for a couple of weeks and see what happens.

Its way too soon for syphilis to show up, you won't get oral hpv (its very rare), and most oral std infections don't cause symptoms.

The only possibilities from giving oral sex are gonorrhea and syphilis.
