Odd gr in penis channel

Hello

I have some concern on a strange growth just inside the mouth of my penis channel, I suspect it goes further down the shaft but cannot tell. I've been to my doctor who has referred me through to a specialist; however this is a two week wait so I was looking for some insight as to what this is.

Over the last few months I have woken up to find a tiny amount of dried blood which I though was from my partner however one day when going to the toilet I found some residual blood around the head of my penis so on further inspection found this little growth inside the head, which seem to have a small tiny black head on it at times, on closer monitoring of it I have noticed a slight amount of stinging n occasion, I have not noticed it bleeding anymore either. The growth can be described as a reddish tongue like growth sometimes is appears as a tiny translucent bead like pin head at the mouth of the channel.
Clearly I am concerned.  Any help appreciated.

Did you try posting this in the men's health forum?  Its not an std, as I said yesterday when I answered this.
