Oral and rimming

Guys I recently done a very silly thing. This is Sunday and on Friday night I met a guy I’m also a guy. I give him oral and I rimmed him and he also give me oral. My question is what are my chances of catching something. Is it slim?  Do I need testing.

This is so out of character for me. I’m going through a divorce and have two young children. Maybe im bisexual who knows. But I feel disgusted with my self.

Could I get sick from the rimming. How long would it talks to get sick.

I have absolutely no symptoms

Many thanks

He also told me he is tested regularly and is 100 percent clean. He also said that he would not of done said sex acts if he knowingly had a std

For giving oral sex to a penis, you can get oral gonorrhea, chlamydia and syphilis. This is considered low risk.

From receiving oral sex on a penis, you can get genital gonorrhea, chlamydia, syphilis, and genital herpes type 1 (if you don't have it orally already). This is also considered low risk.

Most experts don't feel that one act of oral sex warrants testing, but test if you need the peace of mind. Syphilis is uncommon in most developed countries, like the US, the UK, Canada, countries in Europe, etc.

We can't help you with your sexuality, but there is nothing wrong with being bisexual, or exploring. People having sexual encounters with the same gender isn't disgusting, and being a dad doesn't mean you don't have sexual urges.

You're going through a lot right now, and don't hesitate to talk to a therapist if you need to. Your mental health is as important as your physical health.

Thankyou for your kind words they are very much appreciated.  Yes like most things I will get over it. Time is a great healer.
You're welcome. Take care.
When can I do a test for said Stds
Would 7 days be long enough to wait.
You can do the oral and genital gonorrhea and chlamydia testing at 7 days. If you are in the UK, they might want you to wait until 2 weeks. I haven't ever figured out why the UK says 2 weeks, and the US says a week, but it is what it is.

Syphilis can be done at 6 weeks, but really, that's uncommon enough that you don't need to worry about it.

I wouldn't bother with herpes testing. The hsv1 blood test misses 30% of infections, and if it comes back positive now, it means it was a pre-existing infection. If it's negative, you won't know if it's a true negative or not.

Honestly, your risk is low enough to not bother with testing unless you need it for peace of mind.
