Syphilis worry???

24 days after being fingered in my anus I felt a lump just outside the opening.  The guy used lube and wore those clear vinyl gloves which I have learned now dont offer the best protection.  He mostly rubbed around the outside and inserted a finger maybe an inch.  I still have this bump 6 days later...it could be a small hemerhoid but im not sure.  The lump showed up 24 days  after the event.  It has not turned into an ulcer or sore and its been there for 6 days.  Im under the assumptuion that fimgerimg alone should not be a risk for anything and the fact that he wore gloves, albeit cheap gloves...that should further prevent any issues.  But what if he had syphilis rash or sore on his hands..etc. etc. Etc.  Am I over anxious about this? Was I at zero risk since this is a non penile insertion type event ..ie, mutual masturbation?

Syphilis isn't transmitted by hand-genital contact, and it would be extremely rare for someone to have an infectious syphilis lesion on his fingers. Not to mention the extreme rarity of syphilis in heterosexuals in the US. Probably your "lump" is not an STD; and if it is, it still is unrelated to the sexual event described. See a doctor to check it out.

Dunno.  Surely not a high risk, can't say zero though.  Could be transferred through the rash on his hands or arms or something where gloves didn't cover.  Could it be a wart?
