In all my years of working in this field, the longest I've seen anyone go without symptoms is 2 years. I would find it very hard to believe that both partners would go this long without symptoms, though - I could see maybe one of them, but not both.
Maybe she knows something she isn't sharing with you, and for whatever her reasons are, she needs to keep them to herself. Maybe she is in denial, and for whatever reasons, can't face anything else yet.
Of course, its all speculation, and maybe her tests were a false positive. Retesting is a good idea.

from what my friend told me she said that the doctor told her there were 2 different results...one saying that it is chlamydia and the other test said there it was an unidentified specimen(something similar to that)...and that she wanted her to redo the tests to make sure...she did not want to prescribe her any treatment without knowing what it is for sure.
im just curious for myself more relating to the fact of wondering if her boyfriend cheated on her or not....
she seems to believe that it was FOR SURE that it was brought in from one of thier past relationship before meeting each other....
she does not know anything about chlamydia and she doesnt seem to be interested in why she has it...just to cure it if she does have it...
i know this can seem like a nosy person and none of my business...but i just wanted to know
thanks so much for all your help so far!
Oh now that makes sense. :)
I think its sometimes dangerous to say "this could be chlamydia" without testing, as chlamydia gives very similar symptoms as bacterial vaginosis and yeast.

Because she was on her period...she is coming back in a few days to re do the test...
Its possible, but not very likely. Why didn't her doctor test her right then? That makes no sense.
