HPV from fingering then finger in mouth?

It was an anonymous encounter.  I fingered her and put that finger in my mouth while it was still kinda wet.  If she has HPV, will my actions transmit HPV to me?

It's possible. It's not that likely, but it's possible.

One thing to consider is that at some point in our lives, or maybe multiple points, we will all most likely have HPV. Many doctors consider it an inevitability if you are sexually active with more than 1 person in your life, and that partner has had more than just you as a partner.

This is an older discussion, but it's a good one - https://www.medhelp.org/posts/STDs/HPV---Concerns-over-how-it-is-spread/show/1277537

Dr. Handsfield used to be one of our experts on our site (when we had them) and he's one of the best.

Thanks for answering.  What based on my encounter I described... What types of STDs/STIs should I really be worried about?
Really, I wouldn't worry about anything. Using fingers like that is a pretty inefficient way to transmit anything.
