Hey I have similar sympthoms, that constantly werid feeling in urethra, and all analises are negative, did you get rid of it and how if you did?
Hey Clint13, I'm having similar irritation after my sensual massage too. I'm also having a slight genital itch around the scrotum and on the scrotum? It all started a couple of hours after the massage. Did you experience any itching of that kind? I feel like this may be a reaction to the coconut oil she used. She used a ton of it on the hand job too.
glad you are feeling better :)
Hello all,
Quick update on my situation. I never went back for a second hsv test, but I started taking Prosta Q about two weeks ago. If anyone is experiencing the same symptoms that I described above, I highly recommend trying out this supplement. It's a little costly ($50 for 60 pills), but that pales in comparison to the amount of money I've spent on doctors visits and useless prescriptions. I am virtually symptom free after 2 weeks. I've heard some people report that it takes about one month to experience results, but I guess I'm a lucky case.
Thanks again to Grace for taking the time to respond! I'll keep updating my situation if my symptoms come back or if anything else changes. Good luck.

Thank you Grace, I really appreciate the post. I'll post an update in a few weeks.

you shouldn't be taking any valtrex at all. none of your symptoms you describe are herpes related and the encounter in question wasn't a risk for herpes either. your herpes igg blood testing was done long enough after any sex that you can trust your negative hsv2 results. I wouldn't bother with any herpes urethral swabbing at all either - it's a waste of your time and money at this point. you would've had obvious genital lesions now, not just periodic pain. stop the valtrex since for some folks, it can actually cause some pain issues and you are on it needlessly anyways.
all your testing has been negative so even the urologist you found to be clueless was just throwing antibiotics at you to hope that it helps which is pretty much what everyone else has been doing too. at this point pick one urologist and follow up as needed with them. make sure you are also avoiding caffeine, spicy foods and alcohol too since they are culprits in some male genital pain issues.
If you search on the std experts forum, HHH especially has made some terrific posts which reference 2 websites about CPPS. worth reading up on at this point too. sometimes the chronic pain syndromes can be hard to break :(

Hi SCCB,
I'm going on 8 months now and I still don't know what's going on. It's been pretty depressing since I've spent countless hours and dollars going to doctors that don't seem overly concerned about what's going on. I've been tested multiple times for everything and the only thing that has come back positive is hsv. However, this was on the initial blood screening and could be attributed to oral hsv-1 which 50-80% of the population has. After that test (6 months past any sexual contact) I did the more specific hsv-1 & 2 (Igg & Igm) blood tests and both came back negative. However, my doctor prescribed Valtrex just to see what would happen. The Valtrex made a noticeable difference, but it didn't take away all of the irritation. There are some days that I've taken a lot of Valtrex and the irritation is still present. My doctor wants to do a urethral swab test to confirm if I have herpes or not, but I'm starting to get really sick of hearing, "it would be really strange if it was herpes causing this, but let's take this $200 test to be sure." Not to mention leaving work during the day and paying a $25 co-pay. I swear, I've paid close to $1000 and gone to the doctor/urologist 15-20 times trying to figure out what is going on and not one physician has had a clue what it could possibly be. Furthermore, they don't seemed too concerned about trying to find out what it could be. That said, I'll probably get the urethral swab test done next week, but that still won't answer all my questions since 1.5 months of daily Valtrex has not taken away all of my symptoms. I'll try to keep you updated as I continue searching for an answer. Please do the same for me.
If there is another health care professional that has an idea or theory about what is going on, I would really appreciate a response. Even a recommendation on a specific type of doctor to see would be helpful.
Thank you, and good luck SGC8
Hi
I was just wondering if you ever found out what this was? I am a female and am experiencing the same symptoms in the urethra as you; normally after urination it feels as though there are very few drops left that I could squeeze out (when there is quite clearly nothing there). Been treated for cystitis, UTI etc... and nothing worked...
Just want to get it sorted!
Thanks
Hello C
You were at absolutely ZERO risk for all STDs from the exposure you describe. Thanks for the medical history. Wow, I can't believe your initial urologist "seemed clueless". Don't see that Doctor again.
I'd go back to the second Urologist, and talk to them about non-chlamydia NGU or simiply a UTI (non of these are STD related).
Other things it could be is irritation from soaps, shampoo, lotions, lubes, or regular oral and vagina sex with partner. Sometimes the male urethra gets irritated from regular sex from normal bacteria found in the mouth and vagina.
Finally, try abstaining from masturbation for a week and see how you feel.
