Penile Broken Skin and Protected Sex

I recently had a minor surgery to treat my genital angiokeratoma using electrocautery. A few bumps were removed, on the middle and right side of penile shaft. This left a broken skin, a week or so now it has gone better but still not fully intact. Does this mean riskier exposure to STDs; herpes or whatever? I always practice protected sex with CSWs.

Haven't I already answered this for you?

You should wait until the skin is completely healed. The friction from the condom alone could cause problems. If the condom breaks, your broken skin could put you at greater risk for STDs, and infection from bacteria that is normally on skin.

I'm sure you're anxious to get back out there, but you only get one chance to heal correctly. Treat your body well.
