Is she testing positive for yeast/candida? How pregnant is she? Being pregnant can cause these infections. Pregnancy changes a lot in a woman's body.

You could also be passing the yeast back and forth between you. Have you both been treated for the yeast? If she's pregnant, she'll have to be treated by her doctor, but have you treated?

When you say you never test candida, does that mean you haven't been tested, or that you haven't tested positive?

Her doctor might give you something to treat it with, I don't know. I don't know how it works where you live.

A yeast infection in men aren't known to cause UTIs, but the antibiotics taken for them can cause yeast infections.

When you get diagnosed with the UTIs, are they testing your urine, or just going by your symptoms? They need to test you.

No STI would cause pimples all over your penis. That might be yeast, or folliculitis, but your doctor needs to see that. Are they bumps or are they pimples that have a head on them? If they have a head that you can pop like a pimple, do not pop them. Let your doctor see them.

If they don't have a head, they might be Fordyce spots, which are just oil glands, or genital warts, or maybe molluscum contagiosum. Those wouldn't look like pimples, but are white/pink/gray bumps, sometimes skin colored - whatever your skin color is. A doctor can make that determination, but you really need to let a doctor see it.

If your partner is pregnant, do not have sex with her until you see your doctor.

Do not bug the girl you cheated with again. It was your decision to cheat. It's on you now.

Don't take any more medications, for malaria or a UTI or anything. Just go see your doctor.

Hello
My partner she is not pregnant at the moment,  yes I Dr examine her and told me she has yeast infection but No actual test was done. Dr said she has too many white discharge,  I was tested for UTI and I was told I have very small infection and given antibiotics & Shots.  Last time I cheated my wife was 2 months ago & I don't have uti or burning sensation but it started way after I started having unprotected sex with my partner. For pimple on my shaft I didn't examine & bothered much about it . I have seen different doctors I was diagnosed,  h pylori, campylobacter, malaria bcz I recently travel another city that's where I acquire all this things & I'm feeling much better now & also guilt .. I wil buy flucondazole OTC
Does she currently have a yeast infection? If her symptoms have cleared up, and you don't currently have burning or anything, you might not have anything.

You said they gave you antibiotics and shots? Do you know what they gave you? Do you know the names of the medications? That sounds like a lot of meds. Was that all for the minor UTI?

The fluconazole will help if you have yeast, and if you've been passing it back and forth.

Definitely increase your water intake and decrease any alcohol and caffeine.

I was given ampicilin & cloxacilin combined , yes she has it too much now & keep on giving each other back& forth . I didn't much about yeast infection I always concentrate on UTI . IS THERE specific test for candida and how to treat it . As for me I don't have much discomfort when urination only slight backpain
Unless you have discharge, or flaking skin, etc., there isn't much of a test for men. It wouldn't hurt you to take the fluconazole since she has yeast and she's had it for awhile.

Really, and I can not emphasize this enough, try increasing your water, and if you drink alcohol or caffeine, decreasing that. If after a week, the back pain is lingering, see your doctor.

You used a condom and it didn't break, so you wouldn't have any STIs that would cause any urinary symptoms. Even slight dehydration can cause back pain and burning. Don't over do it with the water, but increase it.
Thanks for your advise, u said everything  will take OTC med , one more quiz does candida cause backpain in men , I had chronic upper back pain for years now due to H pylori. pain whic raidates to the back diagnosed by gastroenterology but not lower back pain . No further questions
No, it shouldn't.

Lots of things can cause lower back pain, depending on where it is - muscle strain, poor posture, disc issues, stress, kidney issues. It is not caused by a candida infection.

Really, increase your water, and I don't know why your doctors aren't treating your H pylori with antibiotics and other meds, if they haven't. That's something to take up with your gastroenterologists.

I did urine test , reports written few PUS Cells seen does it mean UTI?
No, a few pus cells is not alarming. If they had given you a number - like 4+, or 10+, or a range - 0-5, or 3-5, written "many" or something like that, it might indicate a UTI or another infection, but a few by itself doesn't indicate anything.

Without the presence of bacteria, you can not diagnose a UTI. Even if you had "many" pus cells, without bacteria, you can't diagnose what type of infection you have without identifying the bacteria.

Pus cells are white blood cells, which indicate an infection, but don't identify what infection it is. For a man, it could mean a UTI, or an STI. You might even have a few if you are dehydrated.

But at a "few" - it's nothing to worry about if you don't have any other symptoms.
Yes i have other symptoms,  frequent urination,  back pain,  I will do other sti test just to rule out, gornohea & chlamydia.  Which other sti cause pus cell in urine. Are this test done on any hospital or STD clinic
You can go an STD clinic to get those done. I don't think you have them, but I don't think you are going to let this go until you get a definite answer, so just go test.

I don't know where you live, and you don't need to tell me, but your regular doctor or STD clinic can do these tests. You just have to ask for them.

You keep skipping over the part where I talk about water, alcohol and caffeine. Really, try increasing your water, and decreasing your alcohol and caffeine.

Just because you cheated doesn't mean this is all an infection. It might not even be connected. Guilt doesn't equal risk. Your condoms didn't break.

But really, just go test so that you can move beyond this. Make sure it's been at least 3 weeks since your last antibiotic use.
Which STI should I test , gornohea, clymadia , should I also test hiv Internet says viral sti also cause pus cells in the urine
Just test for gonorrhea and chlamydia. You have no symptoms of herpes, and if you had herpes internally, the pain would be brutal.

HPV doesn't cause pus cells in the urine, and there is no test for men.

You don't need to test for HIV - you used a condom. That doesn't cause pus cells in the urine.

If it will make you feel better to test for HIV, then test for it. You don't need any of these tests - you used a condom and it didn't fail. Your pus cells are "few", which again, does not indicate an infection.

Your back pain could be something else entirely, and your frequency could be dehydration, or anxiety. All of this could be anxiety. It could all also be related to your UTI, if you even had one.

You are kind of scattered in your thinking - yeast, UTI, STI, etc., and that suggests anxiety. You are determined to think that this is somehow because you cheated. There is nothing to indicate that at all.

So test if you want, drink more water, and then move on. Talk to a counselor if you need to, but there is NO SIGN that you have an infection.

So a few things here so lets keep it simple -

Can thrush be passed partner to partner via sex? Yes. you should both be treated (fluconazole is the most common treatment - can be a cream, tablet and/or a pessary). Thrush is tested using eye site to be fair but you can buy treatment over the counter at all pharmacies.

Your symptoms (sensation during urination, backpain , coloured urine , small pimples shaft of my penis) are not suggestive of any STI. They could suggest UTI (uncommon in men), kidney infection, lack of water, too much alcohol/coffee etc. The pimples on your penis again, is not an STI issue and without examination we cant help with that.

The cheating could cause guilt and in turn could cause this psychosomatic symptoms to appear in the way you suggest so try to relax with that. Your exposure was minimal as you were protected BUT do not use double condoms! One is enough and using two could increase a risk of breakage. But move on from this event.

I'm glad Gaz answered, too - I meant to mention water intake, and alcohol and caffeine, along with the double condoms.

Thanks, Gaz. :)
