hsv1

Accidentally my son touch my veginal area but it was the top of it. I was after a shower and dried. He couldn't touched the fluid but when I tried to wash his hand he licked it. Time gap was 10 seconds. Since I am positive for hsv 1 im worrying ... Can he get hsv 1 through this.

I'm kind of curious how your son accidentally touched your vaginal area.  Did you not have underwear on? You are saying you have HSV 1 on your genitals?  Or you have HSV 1 like most people simply on your mouth? Confused.

Oh, I guess you were getting out of the shower. But still . . . touching your vagina and licking his fingers is not what I think of something that can occur too easily.  But guess it did.  How old is he?  Maybe he needs to be out of the bathroom when you shower.

Like Dave said even if you had hsv1 on the genitials and he touched it it takes a rubbing in motion to transfer and the fingers are thick non preferred areas of infection. Even licking his finger after would present no real risk

Hi if you have hsc1 its most likly oral so him touching your vaginal area he could not get hsv1. even if you have it vaginal he cant get it by touching.
