Syphilis 5 week

Hello team,
Performed uncovered oral on SW, fingered SW and had covered sex. 4.5 weeks after, had an itch on finger next to finger I used, scratched it raw, healed in about a week. could this been a chancre?  Syphilis test week 3 and 5 negative.  Test again? Thoughts?

No, a chancre lasts about 3 weeks.

This sounds like a sore developed after you scratched yourself raw.

You did test a bit early for syphilis, but syphilis is uncommon in most developed countries, like the US, Canada, the UK, etc. If you feel you need to test again, test at 6 or 8 weeks. I wouldn't bother, but if it makes you feel better, do that.

Thank you
You're welcome. :)
Also tested neg at 3 weeks for chlamydia,  gonorrhea, hiv with rna, hep a, b and c, herpes 1 and 2,syphilis. Should I test other? Thank u.
Why 6 or 8 weeks?
Certain STIs have whats called Window Period. This is kind of like the "settling in period" for the STI to take hold and start showing signs of the infection with the body acting to it.

Chlamydia - 2 week
Gono - 2 weeks
HIV - 4 weeks
Syphilis - 6 weeks

But from your first post, I would not bother getting any more tests and conclude that you do not have an STI.

This is the "gold standard" in the UK and most developed countries.
Thank you.
Does sore mean anything?  Looked like it would heal in a week.  At 8 day, almost gone maybe 1.5 mm (not wet, sealed).  started open when it itched and scratched it.  From day one, only healed until now 1.5mm. Thoughts?

Sorry to bother and thank you.
Like AJ said, syphilis chancres stay about 3 weeks and are wet. But the 5 week test would be conclusive for this
Thank you have a great day.
Tested 6 weeks negative. Guess your team right again. We will all miss your expertise. Take care.
Glad youre all resolved :)
