It's been 4 days since several encounters with several strippers, all protected contact except a bare handjob with very minimal saliva involved (her saliva, on my penis). There was some vaginal contact with my protected (condom) penis.
One morning I felt some testicular discomfort, but I think it was due to an aggressive handjob the previous night, and the pain was gone within 6-8 hours. Other than that, I have experienced no symptoms of any kind, and I think it might be a stretch to call the above a symptom, more likely worry and overthinking.
I don't want to pass anything to my current partner. As it so happens, I have on hand the recommended antibiotic which is used to treat chlamydia, azithromycin. While I don't think I have it, would there be any harm in taking the antibiotic? I rarely take antibiotics, and I'm not asking, "is it smart to take them when you're not sick," because it's not, but, in the small chance that I do have chlamydia, it would be worth it to me to proactively take it, if I indeed do have it.
Since chlamydia can be asymptomatic, my lack of symptoms doesn't mean I don't have it, so theoretically, I could have it, and if so, the antibiotics would clear it up, right? I know 4 days is on the low side, so I'm curious about the fact that it's only been a few days. But, if I'm going to do this it needs to be soon because I can't wait on having sex with current partner much longer.
Would like your thoughts, thank you.
