Went to STD clinic

I went to the STD clinic for testing and  i am worried cause it didn't seem like they had changed the exam paper because it was slightly wrinkled . So worst case if it hadn't been changed, how long can STD germs live on a exam paper on the exam table and remain infectious? Could i have gotten anything sitting on the exam table if the paper wasn't changed?

thanks for answering and would u also happen to know approximately how long should one wait after a risky exposure before going in for testing? Just want to make sure i didnt test too early. Asking mainly about chlamydia / gonorrhea (bacterial stds) how long would it take to show up on a test?
