burning

hi,
i am a man and had sex less than a week ago, we started with oral without a condom for a couple of minutes, after I wore a condom and we had vaginal sex. After 4-5 days my penis burns a bit, I pee fine, no burning in there. I don't have any sign on my penis but somehow I am scared I have Herpes. I just took a blood test and It is going to take 2 weeks. I am very nervous because i don't want it to be herpes. 2 weeks feels like 2 years. do you have any tip? should I worry about herpes or it is something curable? thanks

Oh.  Yeah.  Herpes, HIV, Syphilis, and hepatitus, are all tested by blood.

There are tests for herpes available. The best way to detect it is to test the fluid from blisters.  There are also blood tests that detect antibodies.  Some are more accurate than others.  To get even more accurate information on this, please post any further questions in the Herpes community.  There is a link posted above in the box where the "post a question" button is.

Hey sorry to hear you  have Chlamydia. As for herpes, there are no none test to verify if you have it not, you will just need to wait. You will develop lymph node in and around your penis will burn a lot at every out break. There are no cure for herpes but they have some pretty good pills that will help keep the out break to a minimum. I do hope you did not get HIV and the others you listed.

Hi, I got back my urine test and I have Chlamydia so that is good news because it is treatable. She told me I haven't  gonorrhea but she wasn't specific about herpes. When I asked she told me about the syntomps( that i don't have right now) but shouldn't the test tell if I have it or not? How can I know for sure? I am waiting for the hiv, syphilis and hepc result. Is it going to show in there? I just want to get over with it.

Nope.  Nothing else to do but wait.  Drink plenty of water to help start flushing out whatever may be causing the burning.

The only risk to herpes you had for your penis to burn is from the oral sex.  And if she had no visible blisters, the risk of you getting herpes from oral sex was pretty low.  First outbreaks are local to the site of infection.  Did you get tested for chlamydia/gonorrhea by urine?
