greenish discharge..pls help...unable to sleep..

hi doctor, i cant sleep every night, and cant concentrate in anythg i do.. im really worried abt contracting some stds or diseases..please help. one month ago, a guy french kiss me for abt 5 secs twice. i realised there was a cut on my tongue when i got back.

4days after the kiss, i felt painful when swallowing my saliva for about one night.

two to three wks later, i had fever for a day, and diarhhoea for 5 to 6 days. my lips also started peeling and appear to be whitish in contact with water. it stopped after awhile but it came back again.

could it be that i have caught some diseases from his saliva, or possibly blood (hiv)?

and now, one month later, i had discomfort while urination for two days now. it isnt painful but felt something. it jus happen today. and im even more worried.

i noticed some greenish yellow pus-like discharge today.. and i have lower abdominal discomfort..

could it be due to contracting any virus from him? or could it be that i wiped from back to front two days ago,and this happens one day later?

pls kindly give some advice. thanks. im really worried and i would appreciate ur kind reply. thanks

Anyone is at risk for mono.  It can be transmitted by kissing, but also by close contact.

I had mono in high school, and got it from my biology lab partner.  I assure you I wasn't kissing him, as he was my friend's bf.  My friend never got it, though.

I think you just need to stop speculating and see your doctor.

I would ask the doctor to get tested for Mono. Mono is contagious through contact with saliva, and I experienced some similar symptoms as yours...I was diagnosed with Mono about three weeks ago. Get checked out sooner rather than later, so you can get some rest!

Both BV and YI can come about through an imbalance of bacteria within your vagina. Most yeast infections are caused by a type of yeast called Candida albicans. When something happens to change the balance of these organisms, yeast can grow too much and cause symptoms. Antibotics can cause YI, high estrogen levels and health problems like diabetes.

Bacterial vaginosis is a vaginal condition caused by a change in the balance of bacteria that normally live in the vagina. Normally, there are a lot of "good" bacteria and some "bad" bacteria in the vagina. The good types help control the growth of the bad types. In women with bacterial vaginosis, the balance is upset. There are not enough good bacteria and too many bad bacteria.
Bacterial vaginosis is usually a mild problem that goes away on its own in a few days. But it can lead to more serious problems, so it’s a good idea to see your doctor and get treatment.

What brings them on are many things:
Douching
Pentrative Sex
IUD for birth control

These are not considered sexually transmitted diseases since it isn't anything you could "catch". I caught BV because I am (1) pregnant and (2) I used baby wipes. Yep, baby wipes can cause bacterial imbalance as well in some women so I knew how I got BV. I had no problems except for the symptom of the smell, which is like dead fish. I knew then there was an issue.
With BV, even though in some cases it's mild, it could lead to serious issues like PID and that is not a joke. So it's always best just to check to be on the safe side.

Sometimes, but its not something I would wait around for.  Some women can have complications from it, and you don't know if you would or not.  I always suggest that women get tested and treated.

It does just happen.  If bacteria overgrows, you have bacterial vaginitis.  If yeast overgrows, you have a yeast infection.

We have bacteria and yeast and all sorts of other fun stuff in our vaginas to keep it healthy.  If anything disrupts that balance, infections can occur naturally.

Honestly, yes I think you should see your doctor. Greenish/Yellow discharge is not normal and indicates and infection. (I don't believe it to be STD related though) If you have BV, which could be the case and it's not thought of as a STD - you could possibly do some serious damage to your body. There is nothing wrong with going to your doctor and stating your symptoms and your level of concern. However, that is your choice.

I knew when I had BV - I didn't have urinary pain, ab pain or anything... but I had that stench that won't go away. Even though I wasn't 100% sure I went to my doctor and told them my symptoms and was treated for BV and YI. I had no problems either but I did have an bacterical infection.

I agree.  You need to get medical care.

Even if there isn't still puss or greenish discharge, you should still get everything checked out. Greenish discharge is usually an indication of some sort of an infection whether it be non-std or std. (Like BV)
If it stops, you still should go in just to be on the safe side. Even BV could cause PID.

If you meant to send a question for Dr. Handsfield or Dr. Hook, you are in the wrong forum.

I'm not a doctor, but here's my two cents.  You can't transmit any STDs by kissing.  Your fever and diarrhea were most likely due to a garden variety virus.  Regarding your discomfort with urination, greenish yellow pus-like discharge, and lower abdominal pain...this is something that needs to be taken very seriously (you need to go to the doctor asap!!), but has nothing to do with french kissing a guy.  Sounds like you have an infection that you need to seek treatment for, especially if you have abdominal pain...but this has no relation to the event you describe.
Best wishes,
Em
