Jumpjump, I think I can kind of understand what you are saying. You are asking would you get an infection with condoms? The quick answer is no, however, depending one where the syphilis sore is, it might not be protected by condom, and therefore is EXTREMELY contagious to those who make direct contact with it. In oral sex, it is an extremely low risk of transmission. However, if the giver has Syphilis, and has bad gums/blood in the saliva, then conceivably it could happen, however, like so many people on this board have stated, the chances are slim to none.
Now jumpjump I have a question for you. Did both sides of your inguinal nodes swell, or was it just one side? Also, how long after the exposure did your swelling arise? Was it painful? I am asking for my own knowledge.

my inguinal nodes swell just one side (the right side)。Suddenly one day I found my urethral mouth ulcer, but do not pain,and then after a few days of inguinal lymph node swell, no pain.Then I went to see the doctor。After one month of treatment, lymph node becomes smaller, but not entirely subsided。
