Never had any symptoms, wondering about my risk.

Over the last 2 years I've been sexually active with other men. Ive never had anal sex and only rarely had oral (received a dozen or more times, usually never to completion/only a minute or so, and I've given it maybe 5 or 6 times, again never to completion and usually no longer than a minute). Most of my activity is just handjobs.
I've never had any symptoms of and std and am thinking I should get tested anyway. Just wondering what the likelihood is of having something. Also, if I have a cold or the flu is that going to skew the results if I get tested while I have a fever/sore throat?

I would get tested (mutually) before commencing a committed relationship. No need until then unless you have symptoms of concern. Your risks are extremely low. Results will not be skewed by a cold.
