single red bump

A few days ago i noticed a single red bump on the near the bottom of my shaft.  it is a red/pink color and does not cause any itching and discomfort unless i rub it.  i does not pop and is slightly shines.  I have never had sex and am very confused as to what it could be.  I shaved the area recently and think it could be a ingrown hair but i cant see a hair.  It appeared out of nowhere a few days ago starting as a barely noticeable red spot and has grown into a slightly darker bump.  If you guys have any idea what it could be i would appreciate it.  I just want to know if i should go get it checked out. Thanks

If you've never had sex oral/vaginal unprotected sex, then you don't need to worry about STDs.  Its might be a pimple, people freak out when they get one there because its embarrassing or the worse place to get one.  Just make sure you keep washing down there, it should go away.

Best of luck.
