So, recently I have been experiencing this weird, frequent urge to urinate even just a few minutes after going. At first I thought it was a UTI but the urge comes and goes, it's been going on for a few weeks. Along with the frequent urge to urinate is a burning sensation. After worrying myself to death I decided to search the internet about these symptoms which just made me worry more because I read that these could be symptoms of chlamydia. However, there are some things that don't make sense to me. I have been with my boyfriend for over 3 years. We've had unprotected sex two times. None recent. We've had unprotected sex once probably over a year ago. I have since been to my gynecologist and got tested. The test came back negative. I know for a fact that myself and my boyfriend have not cheated on each other. We live together and work together so we are literally together all day unless he goes to play basketball. We were each others firsts so we haven't had any other partners. If anybody knows any explanation of this please let me know. I do plan on making an appointment to get checked again but I still wanted to ask! I know there is treatment but I am still worried sick. Thank you!

That kind of rules out chlamydia then.

My question is, is it likely that this is Chlamydia if I have been to the gynecologist and cleared from anything since having unprotected sexual intercourse or is it more likely that it is just a UTI? I have been with the same person for over 3 years and we have both been faithful, I know that for a fact. We haven't had unprotected sex for probably over a year now.
