Is this an early sign of syphilis?

2 weeks ago when I was taking a bath I noticed that I had a pinkish spot on the crown of my penis. I just ignored it thinking it might have been irritated due to soap or constant rubbing. After a week it was still pinkish, so I decided to go easy on it by not rubbing it when I clean it. after a few days it improved it was a still a little bit pinkish but lighter it seems like it started to blend with the color of the skin. But after a day or two it has again to be pinkish again. Even with changing color I still notice it because of the circular shape it has. It's not painful or itchy. I tried to squeeze it one but nothing happened it was not even painful. it's not sore or have any flaky skin its soft and smooth but it is easy to see though. I cannot make anything of it. I have doubts it is a chancre. Right now the color is changing again.

My last sexual exposure was about 2 months ago protected vaginal but unprotected oral.

I doubt that this came from my unprotected vaginal sex with my ex 7 months ago due to the duration

Please help. I have placed a link with a picture

Thank you,

folliculitis is an infection of the hair follicles, the bump is on the crown of my penis where there are no follicles.I just found out that  The white spot I noticed was due to hydrogen peroxide. this is what I used to clean the area.

Thanks

The bump was a bit sore when he saw it. Probably because I applied a cream with salycic acid on it it made the bump look ugly. That is why he suggested me to get a test. And he prescribed an anti bacterial cream for the bump.

Just now as I was cleaning the bump to put the cream I noticed a white spot on top of the bump. what could it be? Since I an non reactive on the syphilis test. what kind of  bumps have white things on top?

syphilis lesions are pretty easy to recognize. what did the provider think was going on since they didn't think it was syphilis?

The test was ordered by the doc> I was given an endorsement letter by the doc. But since it was already late and the doctor had to leave I was the one who waited for the result.

He was pretty confident it would be negative but he said he had to be sure. Here in my country legitimate testing clinics and hospitals don't just do tests if not ordered by the doc.

were you seen and they did syphilis testing or did you just order the testing on your own?

I just had my syphilis test and thank God its negative. But I am still puzzled by the bump on my penis. I will go back to the doc next week to show him the results.

Hello

There are rules on these forums on pictures of genitals.  We don't look at them.

Your best bet now, is to get seen and have proper work up done if you are concerned.

Let us know what they said.
