Frenulum Tear

I am a 23 year old uncircumsized male, approximately 3 months ago, I had torn my frenulum during intercourse. Since then I have been able to recieve oral sex and masturbate without discomfort, but intercourse is too painful. My doctor has prescribed an ointment that I apply 3 times daily called Viaderm KC which contains a Corticosteroid, an Anti-Inflammitory, an Antibacterial, and an AntiFungal. Since I received this ointment (approximately two weeks ago) I have noticed little change, but this past Sunday (August 3), I elminated masturbation as well. This is because I came to the realization that this problem was not going to correct itself unless I leave it alone. My question is, using this ointment, three times daily, and without masturbation/oral sex, how long can I expect to wait before I can have normal intercourse again?

Leave it alone. By agitating it, you make the healing time get longer!
Put Neosporin on it and leave it ALONE!

Thanks for the advice. Should I be worried that it has taken over three months to heal? Or is that because I have been agitating it, when I should have been letting it heal?

It really depends how deep and severe the tear is. It could take as little as a week or as long as a month or more.
Leave it alone, and it will heal...if you keep masturbating and having oral sex, you'll tear it further, and you might even need surgery...
So...leave it alone! You'll thank me later!
