Pimple-Like infection on area above penis

Hi everyone,

so here is the deal,
the other day (i think saturday or sunday) i was once more like always shaving my private pubes in the shower, etc...
everything was fine although i did notice that it kind of hurt, as if i had cut myself multiple times a little bit. I just thought i was pulling out deep hair.

anyways, since then, my area over my penis (how is it called btw?) has been itchy and sort of irritated. yesterday (tuesday) i noticed some little bumps on that area and at night they had pus in them. i popped them and no more than a few hours later, the infection grew. I do not know if it was caused by the popping as i was in the shower and cleaned it off asap with soap and antibacterial disinfectant.

I doubt this is an STD as i do not remember having sex the past two month AND i'm always protected. The past two weeks i have been partying so i am going to ask some friends if i had sexual or oral intercourse when i was really drunk and forgot to put on a condom but i doubt i wouldn't remember a tiny bit at least.

and for now i'm not counting on having it as this is very awkward because not only does it look terrible but it also really hurts. I have been putting pimple gel on it and i think it has calmed it down but i am not sure.

Please help this is really bad for me and it also hurts! i have stopped popping them until someone gives me a further info. I can't really afford a doctor atm

what should i do? is there some medicine i can buy?

PLEASE HELP!!!!

Oh yes i am a 15 year old male.

It sounds like an ingrown hair from shaving. I get them too. I do not shave that area anymore but instead get a bikini wax, so I don't have those problems anymore. But with me...yes they itched, hurt and get a puss like when you pop them. They do go away though.

Yeah, its probley not a situation that they see on a daily basis, but yes they would do it, male or female...I'm not sure?
Take care and stay safe, continue using those condoms ...glad to hear you have understanding parents, sounds like they educated you on practicing safe sex too :) When the hair grows back, try the trimmer...let me know how it goes for you!

LOL don't worry about my parents their cool with it we got an honest relationship they know every single thing that goes down when i go out ( i got lucky :P ). I guess they wouldn't have liked the fact that i would have asked them to take me to the doc tho for an STD treatment then lol :)

thanks allot!

so what you're saying the "waxer" would be a male? I doubt they would even do the waxing... plus where i live people don't have sex before 17 or 18 so they would probably freak out haha

...just puberty buddy :) Yeah I guess being under age would place a problem, maybe? They would just have an extra person present, but hey you might be uncomfotable though having a male do a wax on you ... :)

Those ingrown hairs will go away, if your pimple cream works then stick with it...
Yes, a trimmer would be better on the budget although mom and dad might question what your using it for with no hair on your face ...lol :)

No i have noticed a radical change (or at least i think there is one, it's not like i took a pic) on the one's who are already present with under 5 treatments, but it is still spreading :-/

oh your saying i should go get a wax? like at a beauty thingy? i thought i would do it on my own... if i go get one, since i am a minor i guess a male would be doing it, that would be to weird :s

lol i really don't know how you're women things work :P i think a trimmer would be cheaper i don't have a big budget for my sex life lol...

I have two products i'm using, one is a cream that dries it and another one is a gel with alcohol that i am not sure what it does but they help my facial pimples. I am also freaked out, at this time not as much but right now, sometimes i get tiny little "bumps" like pimples on my chest between my pecs, it kinda freaks me out because first of all sometimes they have pus and also when the girl is touching me it can be unattractive and even repulsive. they are not noticable by sight but when they touch my chest it is :s

No its not strange if a guy gets a wax, male body builders do it :) It only hurts for  a few seconds each time they pull the strip up. It leaves the area smooth and lasts 4-6 weeks or so. I've never used a trimmer but give that a try to see if that irritates you, if not your good to go!
No I have heard of males shaving so thats not unusual. Search the internet about ingrown hairs, they might have some help on other options to reduce them and things to get rid of them, I'm not sure you need the pimple cream, hopefully that doesn't irritate them more?

Ok thanks. Is it weird if a guy gets a wax? lol it would be very awkward and "painful", no? doesn't it hurt?. Maybe if i use not a razor but you know, like a trimmer? i'd have to buy one tho, i don't have one yet as my facial hair is not quite yet ;) all though it grows back quite quickly, like i have to shave it every week so maybe waxing would slow the process? i'm still kinda freaked about doing that...

people told me that the fact that i get rid of my pubs as a male is unusual. is it true? i just think the girls don't like pubs all over their mouths....

anyways yeah it's really gross, i put on some pimple cream i use that dries up the pus, i hope it goes away soon because it's freaking me out. At least i'm reassured it's not STD and i don't have to have an awkward conversation with my friends.

THANKS!

Oh yes, I almost forgot.
the past three weeks i have been having problems sleeping so i had been taking melatonin. i read somewhere it screws with your hormones (proven scientifically) if you are still growing. May this be related? if so, it will have taken over two weeks to react and very coincidental with the shaving...
