I thought that was what the problem may have been, but as my memory is not too brill, I always double check. (I will take a look at the information that you browsed - thanks). In fact I have one on the back of my ear lobe that is "blind" at the moment, it is starting to shrink now, I managed to squeeze some blood out, but it is still sore.
Unfortunately, we can get these things anywhere and it does happen on the private area. You do not need to be sexually active to get them either.
Do see your doctor though if it is not cleared up, because infections can spread inwards and that is what you do not want.
Glad to know that you are relieved and that I have managed to be of some help to you.
Best wishes.

ya i guess i really dont think its herpes ive done alot of resuch on it but it always happend on my lip on my vag... i just felt it would be good to get a few other opinions on what it could be
It does not sound like an infected hair follicle nor herpes.
It very well could be what wifeandnersingbaby says it is. I had never heard of this before. And you will need to see the doctor for some antibiotics.
It may also be a boil or abscess. The thing is when you keep squeezing and getting rubbish out, if you do not get the root out, it will be flaring up again.
It is best to leave it until it is ready to be popped rather than squeezing a blind spot, this just spreads the infection.
If the spot does not have open skin, you can apply magnesium sulphate drawing paste to it to help draw out the rubbish.
**** even if it is that... would still be better then what already runs through my head...
sounds like hidradenitis suppurativa, next time you get on go to the doctor they can test it. hidradenitis suppurativa is not a std and is very common.
As it keeps recurring in the same place, it appears that the infection is still there and the doctor may prescribe you with antibiotics.
