When done gently (with patience and foreplay), sex does not have to hurt (in a bad way) at all.
I think that the reason so many girls say their first was painful is because younger guys, especially virgins, dont understand (or take the time)for enough foreplay- therefore, the vagina is not wet enough or dilated enough for penetration. (rarely it bleeds, when it does there is very little blood).
Nothing to be scared of when done with the right person…

Hi Honey, Its like this, that I have read and being a man, that some women dont feel a thing and some women go through the roof, so its like that, I surpose this depends on your pain threshold, but as a surgestion try this google dobson and ross you shold find all the info you need and more for your future sex life, its run by Dr Betty Dobson, and she takes life one orgasm at a time, its ok she runs life class's for women who want to find there orgasms and how to.
Good Luck
