Constant Lightheadedness for Months after Shingles

I had a near blackout this past summer at the gym. I brushed it off but the symptoms persisted. I am also a Type 1 diabetic so I had assumed my sugars were low at the time. It appeared that they were fine so I continued on with the symptoms. The next day I made my way to get checked out and had a CT and MRI done of the head, chest x-ray, echo cardiogram, EKG, ECG, and blood work done that all came back normal. About a week had past and the symptoms had persisted, thats when I noticed a rash forming on my back. This turned out to be shingles. The rash went from my right armpit to the center of my back just below the neck. I was given an antiviral for the shingles but when they went away I was still feeling extremely lightheaded still. I can not concentrate and I am currently on the verge of having to drop out of university for the time being.  These symptoms have persisted for months on end with no help in sight. Please if you have any information that could help I would be deeply in your debt. Thank you for your help.
