I have had chronic shoulder pain, radiating pain down my left arm ranging from uncomfortable to 10+. Sometimes I lose use of my left arm all together. I have been in pain management for almost 10 years. Every MRI until the last MRI has came back as possible Degenerative Disc Disease to unremarkable. My last MRI stated "C4-5: Mild posterior degenerative changes are noted. This is accompanied by a 4 mm inferior left central focal disc osteophyte complex at the lower disc level extending slightly below the C4-5 interspace best seen on series 6 image 14 and 15 not displacing the thecal sac with normal central canal measurement normal neural foramina and spinal cord." I don't have a follow up the Dr for about three weeks. In the meanwhile I was hoping someone would try to help me understand this reading.
