sprit

Why do you call it god, it could be called another name in another religion?
I am a Spritualist I respect all religions and people. I love angels which are a link to a higher realm

So for me God is not the Glory, a higher being in any reliegn is higher.

I enjoy life with my beliefs and knowing I gone through a spiritual life respecting all religions and the people that practise them, in fact I go out of my way to find out about their beliefs.  That includes yours, and I certainly found out a lot about yours.    So you you enjoy life, because what I have left I am going to keep following and changing my spiritual path as the spirits(angels) guide me)

It takes more faith to believe in evolution and the big bang than to simply believe that God created everything. Why does faith in a Supreme Creator, God, merit any less belief than what others believe? Does it require more faith to believe that God created what we see, or to believe that something the size of a baseball exploded and expanded to create what we have now in the outer expansions of space? If so, how did the Sun, Jupiter and Saturn fit in that baseball-sized material? Also, if we arose over time as a result of the primordial ooze then how did the first thing that wriggled in there know the other one was wriggling so they could come together to create another wriggling thing. Also, if monkeys turned into men where are these monkeys now? Why are they not still evolving into men? Why are not we evolving into something else? Also, the Bible explicitly said that the world was round , the moon reflected the light of the sun, the sun was the center of our universe and that there were springs and chasms under the sea many thousands of years before men figured it out. So, why replace faith with something harder to believe? After all, belief in evolution, the big bang and other such things constitute faith and religion in and of themselves. Other than that, it is mighty funny that over 90% of early scientists who made significant finds and contributions to their respective fields were Christians to begin with and ended up taking back their words. Go figure. This debate is as old as time and will only be settled when God decides to reveal the truth. One wonders how anyone can seriously study science and believe half of the modern junk out their being sold as fact. Carbon dating has been proven to be erroneous. Many of the early hominids have been proven to either be hoaxes or not as old as others purported. Some scientists say that humans and dinosaurs never roamed the earth at the same time, yet the Bible says they did. Also, there are plenty of fossils were man's footprints appear inside of a dinosaur's. There have been petrified trees only thousands of years old thrust face down at an angle crossing through millions of years of strata in rock samples which would be supportive of a worldwide catastrophic flood of Genesis proportions. See, the fact is Science and faith can work together, the problem is some people think it can't. Prove to me there is no God. After all, who would believe that a Rolex they came across just evolved on its own? No intelligent being would. It would be quite evident that a watchmaker had to be involved with its creation. :D

If you'd like why don't you watch this video on evolution vs. creation. The world pushes evolution but not many people know about what creationism as to offer. The Genesis Conflict will open your eyes...

But anyways, it's all a matter of what you want to believe and if you really want to argue it then enjoy yourself, I for one will do my best to enjoy life and the pleasures that come with it. So all is fine. You can believe as you wish, God gave us all free will so don't worry about upsetting me. It takes a lot to do that. ;) I actually enjoy it when people probe me about why I believe in Jesus. :)

As I respect all peoples religions as long as
1.  they respect me knowing that perhaps I don't believe in their religion
2. Not be paranoid or unsure about their religion that they have to go on the attack to anyone who criticise it.
3. Respect my belief earth was not created in 6 days and god took a rest.  It took billions an billions of to evolve we are now.  Even now we are the first key on the grand piano(only way I can describe it)  we  are still evolving

I am sorry if I have upset you that was not the purpose because I believe in a higher being with angels but I do not give it a name.

Ok. Well this group was created to share how awesome God is.

Some people think that believing in Jesus Christ as the only way to be saved is arrogant, narrow minded, and intolerant. Statements about exclusive belief in Jesus have even been considered hate speech. These people claim religious pluralism: the philosophy that all religions are equally true and all lead to salvation - YOU.

But when it comes to Christianity, which states that Jesus is the only way to salvation, pluralism is wrong. In reality, pluralism is just as exclusive as Christianity because it excludes anyone who believes in a single path to God. Therefore, pluralism contradicts itself by admitting that some religions are false. Believing that all religions have the truth is simply illogical, especially if some religions claim to hold the only truth.

The Christian faith is based on the Bible. There are historical, archeological, prophetic, and personal reasons for some to place such faith in a book. But the Christian has also the natural world as evidence of a loving and wise Creator. Scientists and surgeons of all ages have admitted that only a designer and Creator could account for the lavish complexity of Earth.

I am ok with you sharing your beliefs as long as I am not forced  to recognize them all as equal. I respect you in what you choose, so allow me to do the same. :)

I am not looking for some where to attach my beliefs to.  I am interested in all beliefs and do not believe any belief is better than another as long as people respect each others beliefs.

You are obviously not a believer in evolution which makes more sense to me than 'God' making sea and fountains of water.

Well I think this is a group for those who feel that the God of Heaven, creator, redeemer, King etc... deserves all praise and glory!!

The passage comes from Psalms 44:8:
In God we make our boast all day long, and we will praise your name forever.

and Revelation 14:7:
Saying with a loud voice, Fear God, and give glory to him; for the hour of his judgment is come: and worship him that made heaven, and earth, and the sea, and the fountains of waters.

I think there is a spirituality group, if your looking for a place to share your beliefs. :D
