Retrieval question- what is the timel line?
How far out do you know when your retrieval will be? Is it days? weeks? hours?

Hey baby! This will be my first IVF too! Sounds like I'm doing something similar to you. When AF comes at the end of March I call them and go in day 2 or 3 I think to get started. I'll also be on Gonal F and Menopur but also on Orgalutron. Not sure yet of all the details as I'm meeting with the nurse on Thursday to go over all the details. My RE said he would transfer 2. That's his limit I think. How old are you? I'm 40. Are you doing ICSI or assisted hatching as well?

I have one more day of BCP. As soon as AF starts, I need to call and schedule my u/s. I assume they will want me to come in on cd3, so that will most likely be by the end of the week. My protocol will be 225iu of Gonal f and 7 days of Menopur. Mr RE says that every cycle is different, but told me it would be somewhere around 8-10 days of meds. I am really hoping to have my ER around 4/7 or 4/8.
He was leaning towards 2, maybe 3 embies to put back. How many are you all doing? So hard to know how many is the right amount on the first try!? This is so great to know I have a place to ask questions and share my craziness :o)

I had a known donor the first time, and I would run her back and forth to doc appts. her retrevial date changed by days. They want to retreve the eggs at an optimial time, which could differ from person to person due to protocol being used. (in hindsight, if my RE would have went for quality over quantity, we would have been in a much better position).
I took my hcg shot at 10 pm on Friday and had my retrieval Sunday at 7 am. Good luck to you both. Truly the retrieval depends on the progress of your follies. I think 10-12 starting at day three, so that would be cd13-15.

That's a great question! I'm wondering the average myself so I can try to plan as best as possible. What time did you take the trigger Plumber??

How are you? Well when I had my ivf Started injectables cd3 and took 450iu of gonal-f for about 10 days, triggered then 36 hrs later had my retrieval. I hope that gives you some insight. I would say as long as you are progressing nicely about 14-18 days (CD)
