2nd Beta results and progesterone

Got my progesterone results yesterday.  The nurse said they were good at 32.7.   Then went in for the 2nd beta today to see if the numbers had doubled and they had at 2520.  Whew, one hurdle passed.  When I first saw the 1026; I started thinking about twins; but with this 2nd number it seems more normal; but what do I know.  The nurse wanted to schedule an appt for ultrasound and whatever; sometime in July!?!  Maybe I'm wrong but I thought they would want to do that around 5 or six weeks; especially for someone in a high risk category because of age.  I wasn't going to get in till about 10 weeks till I argued with her for awhile.  I don't want to wait that long.  So she squeezed me in on June 25th.  Still 8 weeks.  I want to thank everyone for their good wishes.  I really appreciate them and wish everyone the best.  SSBD all around!

I think this summer will be great for the 40+ women.

I too just found out I was pregnant and had my first ultrasound last week - 7 weeks, 2 days, heart beat at 148!

1st pregnancy at the age of 42 with IVF!!!

Lets send lots of SSBD for EVERYONE this summer!

You know, I don't really have a GP.  I've hardly ever gone to the dr.  I had a few problems lately so I started seeing an OB/GYN and that's who I have now.  I was scheduled to go the fertility clinic but now I'm going to cancel that appt. Just the remote possibility of twins makes you want to see, but I suppose I will just have to wait.  Thanks to both of you for the congrats!

Congratulations. got good relationship with your own GP? They also can issue U/S paper as well. I found out sometimes your GP is more happy to listen what you need, but fertility clinic is not.
