Hi Sherri,
Keep us posted.  I really don't like taking prometrium,  makes me feel horrible, but I know it is good to use when your timing is right!  I am excited for you.

Where do you get the maca and Vitex?  I haven't heard of either of these, but I am open to trying new things.

Hi Pum!

Not much for me to go on this month - not sure we BD'd at the right time, might have been a day early plus a day late. Raging PMS right now (cranky), which I'm taking out by pruning all the shrubs! AF expected next Monday or so. Let's see if she arrives on time! She was a bit of a tease last month - a day late. The nerve.

Sherri:
How exciting. I am so pleased for you and take great hope from you... as I have had to not try this month due to upcoming husteroscopy and I remember you had to have a month off and that was hard. It is hard when you've a history of m/c and we understand but as of right this minute you are pregnant and no-one can take that away.

Alice: It can happen anywhere I'm sure. I hope you are staying strong ('kia kaha' is what we say here).

afm: I seem to have ovulated early this month which means I will be having my period pretty much when I have the hysteroscopy. I sure hope that doesn't mean he won't be able to see what he wants to see. I probably should double check.

Wendy: any early clues for you this month?

Hi Sherri

Sounds like you're right - this time your pregnancy IS different than your last 2 chem. pregnancies. This is really exciting! Crossing my fingers for tomorrow's Beta.

Best wishes,

Hi everyone! Sorry I've been MIA for a bit. On vacation w/DH2B in Singapore and Australia. I'm nervous to tell anyone this, because I've had such trouble in the past w/chem preg's. But on 4/1, I did POAS at 11DPO and it was + ! I did it again the next day and got the same result. :-) The lines were not very dark but they were there. We're cautiously optimistic but needing prayers for tomorrow's beta to be HUGE and then the one two days later to be double!

I do feel really pregnant this time. Am constantly hungry and frequently nauseous. I want to celebrate so badly but after chem preg's in Dec, Jan & Feb, feels premature to celebrate. But why this one might be ok is that my progesterone was normal at 7DPO. It was 17.6! For all the chem preg's it was between 4-6. So this one might be different. I'm at 4 weeks now and the others had stopped by 3 weeks.

In case anyone is curious, there was something that I did differently this month. I added maca root and continued Vitex and progesterone supplementation. I know the P wasn't the deciding thing for me. Most likely it was the Vitex and maca. For me, I think the hormone imbalance was partly thyroid related. And from what I've read, maca stimulates your pituitary and thyroid to produce the right amount of hormones. Not sure if my understanding is accurate but I do believe maca (& Vitex) made the difference for me. I am doing Prometrium too, just to make sure my P level stays up, along with extra B6 and selenium.

Alice, I'm so sorry to hear about the mugging! That's just terrible! So frightening! I guess your body will need a little time to recover while the stress of the incident subsides. But I'm sure within a month you'll be back to normal! I'm very glad that you're ok!

Hope everyone is hanging in there! Praying for BFP's for everyone and a BFP beta tomorrow for me! I'm so nervous. I have to admit that I'm worried that my nervousness about everything might even adversely affect the pregnancy. :( I'm trying to stay positive but I know you all understand (especially others who have m/c'd) how hard that is.

SSBD to all!

:) Sherri

Gee whillikers Alice! I hope you can put this behind you. You aren't just another statistic - you're Alice!

I'm with you - give your body a cycle to get past this dumb thing. You'll be good to go again in a month.

Best wishes,
~Wendy
