How effective is a condom and by reading at my situation could i be pregnant

Me and my  boyfriend use condoms everytime we have intercourse. We have never had a condom rip or break. We also have had sex five weeks ago. I was expecting my period on December 30 but it did not come instead i had brownish color fluid for like four days and cramping over the weeks, i was thinking that is was my period coming but, it has not yet shown up. I wasn't concerned at first because i usually have irregular periods but never with spotting. Could i be pregnant? Or is my period trying to come but not able to come in full force?

yes, i will advise you to take a pregnancy test, and the day after the condom broke if you were scared of pregnancy you should of gotten a morning after pill, like Plan B or Next Choice, but since it is too late i advise a Pregnancy test

take a test 2 weeks after the date when the condom broke.. the smallest amount of semen can get you pregnant

Hi, im in the kinda same situation, can anyone please help me ;'(
im 16 and become sexually active about 2-3 months ago, always wore a condom but this month when my partner and i have intercourse (11th jan) the condom broke (dont fink hardly any semen got out as it was the tinyest tear) ive heard people say that my chances are extremely low but yesterday (17th) we had sex again and not being gross but after and about 1 hour after getting home i was soaked with unpleasant watery discharge, today hasnt been bad, just creamish in colour, im quite scared and would appreciate ANY info, always had not cramps but slight feeling in my lower belly (almost like period but very VERY light )
please help, much thanks!

did you take a test yeah?

i went on the combined pill to regulate my periods, it takes 2 - 3 months to get it in your system but it defo works and its 99% if its taken properly against pregnancy! but always wear a condom with it

its ok! some people always get discharge aswell but its more of a white colour and it darkens just before there periods.. but id defo take a test anyway just to be sure and get yourself on the pill to help your periods :) but use a condom as it minimizes the risk of pregnancy more!

heyy

i usually get a brownish discharge before my periods start.. im on the combined pill and used condoms but together its still only 99% effective. You should get yourself on the pill to regulate your periods it honestly helps!

your period could be late due to stress or worry.. and condoms are actually 98% effective if used correctly :) its on the NHS website

Yes, she was irregular too. I think a lot of teens are. She's 17, almost 18. It's not easy being a teen mom but it can be done, especially if you have support. I wish you all the best. Hope everything works out well for you.

I don't think you're out of the woods just yet. I would wait a few more days and then take a hpt. My daughter had brown blood and was told that's the uterus cleaning itself out and preparing for a baby. And yes, she's pregnant now, and yes they used a condom.

Thank you for the advice i was worried. I hope im not because i am mature but no that mature. And i've been practicing safe sex a whole lot, but i am still worried becasue if i  skip this month i would  be concerned because i've only skipped a month once and when i did i was not having sex.

that has happened to me before when i was young also.. it doesnt mean your pregnant but if you have any type of worry or concern then go get a test or go see a doc. condoms are only 85% effective as i know this because thats how i got preg with my 3rd when my ex and i as well used condoms and yet im pregnant. so do the above and be carefull  gd luck
