A clarification of "cows"

Just to allay the fears of those skinny witches on here, the term "old cow" came from a lovely 19-year-old (she claimed, likely younger) member many moons ago who dubbed some of us old cows for having the audacity to advise her maybe she should wait a while before TTC. Seems around that time we were having an influx of members coming on in horrible financial positions and fledgling relationships wanting to conceive. So for our efforts in advising that they wait until they were more stable, ie had a job, insurance, a committed relationship, sobriety, etc we were dubbed Old Cows.

At the time, I was 26 or 27, not old by anyone's standards and I was markedly thinner :-) Not that I think I am necessarily a heifer now, but you know what I mean.

So there it is. That does not mean you have to believe the same. It is just the story of the cows title.

LOL, I remember her.  She went by 3 different names if I recall correctly. I used to love reading her posts. She was pretty out there at times.

She dubbed Peek, aka "who_is_this" as "who_dis" is was hilarious when Peek changed her name to that moniker! She then became Peekawho.

There were sooo many trolls, we can't even remember.  I do remember one girl who had her boyfriend coming on and posting and then she would come on and say oh that was my boyfriend, he's just playing around.  They were trying to conceive.

Some of the stories trolls tell are soooo out there, it's mind boggling.  I mean, if your going to make something up at least make it somewhat feasible.  Some are pretty hurtful though and even though I shouldn't get upset about them I do.  When they address painful situations that others have experienced for real it really really bothers me.
