I'm in the process of being referred, but I'll wait as long as it takes! Hope you start feeling better soon!

thanks KJ for sharing your experience. It is good to hear that you are not alone in the struggle for "normalcy"
My appt with endo is not until aug 19....

I was put on Synthroid in December, and did lose a few pounds. However, since April, my weight's gone back up, and nothing I do seems to help. I went to the doc about it, thinking it was all the soy I'd been eating (found that's not such a good idea with hypo) but my levels were all good. I'd try to talk to an endo doc if you can.
Sorry I couldn't help more!
KJ
I am on synthroid and I have actually lost a few pounds. But I will say it goes up and down so not sure if its the meds or just the lack of a thyroid in general...LOL.
I am on 200mcg of synthroid it has almost been a year since my TT and I have lost more than I have gained but it has been sorta up and down.
Good Luck,
Dana
hi, thanks for responding. Mine is more medicine, because at first, I was loosing weight. Changed to synthroid and added estrace = added weight.
No change in the sleep I am sorry to report. I appreciate you asking.
Hope you are doing well. talk soon.
Peggy
Hi. Well I've been on Levothyroxine for ~2 months. I have gained a bunch of weight this year and most of it is around the waist. I think it is more of a thyroid issue than it is medicine. But that is just a guess. I truly don't know. Sorry.
I hope you are getting some more sleep now. Take care.
any feedback will be greatly appreciated.
