27 cysts/nodules

Hello. I am new and hope someone can help me.

I had an thyroid ultrasound last week and they found 27 cysts/nodules.
That seems like a lot to me, but I can't find information.
Is that 'normal'? What can cause this?

14 cysts
6 complex cysts
1 complex cyst with microcalcifications
3 complex nodules
1 isoechoic nodule
1 isoechoic nodule with microcalcifications
1 complex nodule with calcifications measuring 1.45 x .71 x 1.38 cm

Thyroid hormones are 'within range' - but always at the very bottom of range
(TSH = .7,  T4 free = .94,  T3 free = 76.4 ).

I am having a FNB on Thursday.

New to this,
Peggy

Tthe multinodular pattern of many small nodules [Swiss cheese] pattern is typical for the aftermath of severe silent and Hashimoto's thyroiditis, that is why I asked about antibodies.
This can be confirmed if cysts are containing colloid.
In addition 5 % of Hashi patients do not have elvated TPO/TG antibodies.

Yes. All low.
But I do have an immune system disorder and my body does not
even make the antibodies that it should. Antibodies and Autoantibodies are all low.

Complex nodule means it has solid and fluid components; have someone ever tested your blood for TPO/TG antibodies?
