Thyroid Lesion

I just found out that I have a lesion on my thyroid (found by ultra-sound).  I have not gone to my follow up visit yet, I also have granuloma annulare which I have had since I have had since my teens.  I was just wondering since the granuloma is thought to be linked to diabetes and immunity if it might be related to the thryoid issue or if this would be a condition seperate from it.

It would be a separate issue as the thyroid condition is an autoimmune disease , the same as diabetes mellitis is an autoimmune condition.
Most people will have one autoimmune disease only then to discover they have a 2nd one.
Sad but true .
See your Doc and get a Thyroid Funtion Test with Tsh, FT3 & FT4 checked.
