Anyone having surgery MONDAY?

Hi all,
Surgery in 2 days!! Any of you heading in for thyroid surgery? Share you information with me!! I am wondering if anyone has any pointer. Utahmomma has gave me tons... BUT anything is good to hear! I will be getting all my stuff doen today to get ready... All of you out there wish me luck!!! I will be posting ALL my information after the surgery. How it felt, what they doen and all that good stuff. So if I can help anyone in a similar situation I can!!!

ME:
29, 2 Children 8 and 2
MAY 5th Sugery
2 Colloid Nodules... 2.5Cm (FNA SAID NEgative for caner) I did not care take it out!!  1 Cm Nodule Not FNAd
Pathologist on site win OR to do a frozen section (THANK YOU UTAHMAMMA)
Hashimotosthyroiditis as well

Symptoms:
Hair loss, Chest Pain, ANXIETY for 10 Years diagnosed as GAD and Bipolar...
went from 150lbs at 5'9 to 220 OUCH.  

Not sure waht my thyroid hormoens are but the Thyroglobulin was 42.6 I THINK Ana was Negative

The only thing I can add is vneck tshirts - and ensure your jammies are vneck too.  I was just (am still) so sensitive around the neck area, that vnecks are all I will wear.

My friendn leonard is good - but not as good as his first book - cant remember the name - but yes, still good.

Well your nudule is about the same size ad mine.. Is it in my head but my arm pits hurt?? WEIRD HUH?? I wonder if I am just over thinking stuff?

Good luck with you in the OR it will be fine nad you will sail on throug it and all will be fine..

Got my house clean and the truck cleaned pones Clean water and the dog kennel clean.. I AM READY!!!

OK .. get one of those u shaped pillows .. bring to hosp with you and use for a week when you sleep..no sleep position or watching TV will work .. also picking up kids toys on the floor and picking up grocery bags won't work for a week, too .. all muscles!

23, no kids
may 6th surgery
2.3cm nodule, FNA was inconclusive
have been on  synthroid for 2 years to try and shrink it, but it has gotten bigger

the only symptom i have really developed is choking a lot (my TSH has been fine before the synthroid and it has stayed fine since i started taking it)


i'm so tired of having to worry about this!
