What is your ideal TSH?

Hi

I know about TSH and its relationship with T4 and T3 but i was interested to see what values of TSH people on this board feel best at. I have a TSH of 3 at the moment (on levothyroxine) but still feel dreadful.

Great Question!  Here is my answer keeping in mind Cancer Supression for 2 papillary microcarnomas with no lymph node involvement and fully encapsulated and very small in one side of the gland.

► TSH <1.0

In reality anxiety @ 0.667 and 1.3 ... now heading back to 1.8 where I feel like a normal, healthy person but not optimum for cancer supression which falls into the quality of life/cancer supression issues we have with our Endos.

I should further mention "normal" TSH for me is 2.8-3.0 so 1.8 isn't all that bad .. I guess

Interesting. I thought that if you were between .3 - 3.0 all was good.  I'm in the 'normal' range, but low .37.

synthroid name brand for me.

I was considered normal at the 2.8 and guess what .. now that I am 1.3 all my symptoms that were hypo are gone and so now they all agree subclinical!  Normal value but symptomatic which before all this finding nodules and surgery was merely dismissed as getting older as I'm well into my 40's grrrrrrrrrrrr
