Unfortunately, all of the tests your doctor ordered are obsolete and not very useful, except the TSH and vitamin D. Your TSH is every doctor's dream...
You should ask your doctor to test the active thyroid hormones, Free T4 and Free T3. These will tell you exactly what you need to know, along with your symptoms.
It would also be helpful if you asked to be tested for thyroid antibodies. Most hyperthyroidism is caused by Graves Disease, but it's not unusual for some with Hashimoto's to start out with periods of hyperthyroidism, alternating with hypo or normal. The tests for Hashimoto's are Thyroid Peroxidase Antibodies (TPOab) and Thyroglobulin Antibodies (TgAb). The definitive test for Graves is Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin (TSI).
Yes, your vitamin D is too low... Perhaps you need to increase your dosage from 3 days/week to 7 days/week until your level gets up to normal. Vitamin D should be at least 60-80 to be optimal.
It would be helpful it you could tell us what hyper symptoms you are having.
