I was on treatment for hcv and was taking the new drug boceprivir now that im of the drugs (interferon,rabovirin,boceprivir) at 6 months the virus is still undetectable. but now my thyroid is 003 and I have been gaining a lot of weight the nurses said to have it treated. first is that a bad number? and what kind of meds will i have to take? will it ever get better? Im always tired I did the treatment to get better and now i dont feel any better actualy i feel worse

Can you check your lab report and see what is "003"? I suspect there's a decimal point in there somewhere, and it's probably TSH they tested. Did they do any other thyroid tests?
of course no one in the medical community has an answer because either the ******* drug companies hide the truth from the doctors or the doctors really dont give a rats *** for your health just the fat *** paycheck!
