Back from Vacation ...

Had a WONDERFUL time in Cancun, Mexico and all went just fine .. thyroid behaved okay, didn't lose any synthroid enroute and they finally got right meds for my urinary tract infection the day before I left!!!  The urine culture showed STAPH of all things so they put me on Bactrim since the Levaquin wouldn't touch the Staph ... thankfully, they figured this out before I was in Mexico!!!!  That would have been scary.

Have been thinking of you all ... if there is any post I missed just repost it here if you want my attentino to it ... I'll take some time to go back thru old posts, etc.

One post inparticular about referring to a blog I believe was zapped bcz of virus possibilities with links outside of MedHelp moreso than the link itself.  I'm not 100% certain bcz I didn't delete the post, but usually this is the case.

The Thyroid Pub was hopping ... sorry, I had a nice Mexican Margarita of my very own in REAL MEXICO (not virtual) and I toasted you all on the thread that night for real LOL!!!!

Should have been here this weekend.  My little boy got a nice tan!  Crazy weather.  Last night we had ice and snow.

WELCOME BACK!!!!!!  It sounds wonderful, despite the weather not cooperating with you.  Glad to have you back.

Don't let AR fool you, though.  While the pub got a little off topic (okay.....a LOT off topic - we started talking about FOOD!), AR revealed his get rich scheme.  He's just trying to make sure you don't go back and read his secret.  :-))  He was right about us all falling asleep on Friday, though.  Many were sick, and some of us??  Just lazy.

Looking forward to this coming Friday night at the Pub.  Hopefully, the sicky's will be better by then!

Tiny tan.  Weather wasn't great the first 3 days there ..... bad weather just was NOT Fair since I rarely go away other than 1X year to the ocean LOL.. (this was a business award trip with husband and 50 other couples).   The ever-glistening caribean (or ocean ??) was not calm like it was supposed to be ... we were supposed to go snorkling but it was so rough that I almost puked (along with 3 others)!!  

This was All the West Coast's fault .. big storm that came East.  Then Fri and Sat was better and warm and home Sunday .. so tiny tan .... decided to go to city of Tulum which dates back to 1500's arecheologic ruins of mayan indians vs. pool ... it really was spectacular .... didn't have time to go to the big ruins of Chichtzen Iaha.

I'll be here for next Friday's pub and the next pub and the next pub ....... these trips come far and few inbetween so take 'em with or without tan as they come right!!!!!

I guess health issues @ the pub is small talk, eh?
