Advice for newly diagnosed hyperthyroid?

Hello everyone. I was diagnosed last week with hyperthyroidism and am waiting for my appointment with an endo. I was misdiagnosed for quite a while before this diagnosis. For months I have had the following symptoms:- fast heart rate of around 150bpm, palpitations, shortness of breath, left sided chest, arm and neck pain, feeling hot all the time - people touch my face and say I'm cool, but I feel like I'm on fire, sweating, headaches like a tight band around the top of my head, pain under both my ears, digestive problems, nausea, shakiness, loss of smell and taste, ringing in my ears, swollen feet and altered vision. I've also really not been like myself. I used to be happy to talk to anyone, but now I feel anxious and nervous about it and I seem to have lost interest in a lot of things. Some days I feel completely manic and am angry and tearful over things which would never have bothered me. I've also become a bit obsessive about doors being lokcked and things being 'just so'.I feel awful as I write this, especially my head and below my ears. I guess I would like some advice on what happens next. When will I feel better?! I don't know anyone who has had this disease and am trying to stay calm.
Thanks, L

I been hyperthyroid numerous times but one time I was hyperthyroid for a couple of months from a condition called hashitoxicosis. I do have hashimoto's thyroiditis but for those two months I also had Graves antibodies causing hyperthyroid symptoms.

Symptoms I had with Graves that I didn't have with my "standard" hyperthyroid issues was pretibal myxedema on my shin, swollen lymph nodes in my neck, and eye symptoms such as light sensitivity causing pain and reddish looking eyes.

I wrote about treatment options for Graves/hyperthyroidism on another answer...

What antibodies test was done?  With your symptoms it seems like a test for Thyroid Stimulating Immunoglobulin  (TSI), to test for Graves' Disease, would have been in order.

I'm not sure to be honest. He said the endo would definitely be running some more tests so maybe that's something he will do? I read up on Graves' disease before I got diagnosed as my optician commented on how dry my eyes were at my last appointment and asked if I'd had any other health problems. When I told her my other symptoms she said 'thyroid'.

How were you diagnosed as hyperthyroid?  If based on tests, please post results and reference ranges shown on the lab report.   When is your appointment with the Endo?

Hi gimel. The doctor sent me for a blood test at my insistence. My results are TSH 0.13 (range 0.3-3), T4 23.0 (range 8-19) and T3 6.4 (range 3.6-6). He said my antibodies test was negative. My appointment is in a couple of weeks.
