The past 2 days Iv been experiencing bad pains all over. My legs, arms, elbows, knees and chest. I know its part of hypothyroid but I never expected it to b dis bad!!!!! I just want to be myself again.. It all seems too much to take at times!!!!

Ireland is VERY COLD!!!!!! Would prefer to be lyin on a beach in spian..LOL...Thanks for the comment, hope to feel better soon, fingers crossed! Hope your meds kick in !!!

same here jen.. been on the meds following a total tyroectomy. nov 20th.. only on meds 3 days but still exhausted tired, muscle aches, joint poping , docs say it takes about 2 weeks till feel better. i hope so im tired of this./.   hang in there.. hows ireland?

I found out a year ago from a member here too that magnesium citrate could be used to ease that too.

I did try it and I was pleased it helped alot for me too. It also calmed my nerves at night too when I had horrible anxiety.

Now that I feel I am pretty optimal - I have dropped tha mag except for today - I was stiff so I popped on.

Not sure if it is the cold weather now settled in Wisconsin - but I ached pretty cold today myself.

My last labs were about 4 weeks ago, got d results 2 weeks ago...nx app. for aft xmas!!!! hope the mads kick in soon!

I am sorry to hear that you are in so much discomfort....when were your last labs to make sure you are at optimal levels? I like to take magnesium to help with the muscle discomfort.
