Yes, definitely, I dreaded every increase I had. What's your latest FT3, FT4 and TSH and their reference ranges? Which meds and how much are you taking now and what is your increase history (with timeline)?
This has been reported here. Keep in mind your ideal range on labs is were YOU feel the best, not where the doctor thinks the TSH looks good.
So how did you feel before the increase?
If you were feeling hypo and need an increase, you can 'blend' your old med with the new higher dose if its the same type like T4.
Did you ever try Levothroid or the generic T4 med, just called Levothyroxine (assuming you in U.S.)?
I dont experience any hyperthyroid symptoms. But i dont sleep for the first few weeks after an increase.
Not sleeping is pretty much a hyper symptom!
lol. But insomnia is also a hypo symptom! :)
Isn't that just the beauty of this disease? Hypo or hyper, you can have the exact same symptoms. When I was hypo, I slept like a baby...nostalgia!
