Lab results

Just got my blood work from my new doctor.  She is a naturopath and is willing to put me on Armour, I’m going back on Monday and would like to get some input.  I’m very worried about changing meds because I feel so bad right now with anxiety and depression I just don’t want it to get any worse.
So here are the results

T4 total 7.5 (4.4-11.0)
T3 total 1.0 (0.7-1.8)
TSH 0.36    (0.32-5.50) I thought this range was not right but I know this is to low for me

T4 Free 1.4 (0.7-1.5)
Thyroid Peroxidase Ab 386.6  (0.0-3.9)
Thyroglobulin Antibody 16.9 (0.0-14.4)

Vitamin D 25   34 (30-80)

So Question what would someone start out on with armour?
Could these results still be causing my Anxiety/depression even though I’m taking Lexapro? Not Helping at all.
How long does it take most people to start feeling somewhat normal when started on Armour?
I have been on Synthroid for a few years now.  Right now taking 100.  Been up and down like a roller coaster.

Is there any way to lower antibodies?

SOmetimes finding out if you are having a conversion problem is hard to pin point.

She may try you out on Armour and drop the Synthroid - or add in Cytomel T3 to your Synthroid - but in most cases will drop down the dosage of Synthroid - if Cytomel is added.

I believe - when labs like yours are present - this is where some digging into Free T3 needs to be done.

So lets say I am having a hard time converting T4 to T3.  What would one do if this was the problem?

You need to have a free T3 test done....your free t4 is high normal....so there may be a chance you are not converting properly and could use the T3 addition. With your lab numbers and if you have a conversion issue, you will feel hyper and hypo at the same time. Even though the numbers "look good" you can still feel horribly ill.
I agree with Stella you need to be on Vit D3!

First - your lab Vit D is low. I am pretty sure we talked about that a while back and YES low Vit D can cause nervousness ( anxiety)

You also have some Hashimoto going on and most Hashi's will have a TSH in a range that shows normal - but it may not be right for you.

Your T- testing are total values not Free - so you could be low on Free T3 and that can cause anxiety too.

Guessing from your Free T4 lab you are in the high numbers so one could assume
(Testing it would be best) that the Free T3 is low- BUT - "a test" would be best to know that for sure.

I can only speak on a personal level - but anxiety was the LAST thing to leave me - after my switch to Armour. It's not a magic bullet by no means - but it did balance out my levels to rid me of all my symptoms and I waved happily bye bye to my anxiety after it was gone.

I am not sure on the switch being right without seeing the right labs being tested. You really need to know those to know if a switch is best.

In my opinion, it looks like you are hyper.

Why would she put you on Armour? I don't think you need it, it will only make you more anxious....Trust me when I say you do not want the symptoms of hyper.

Your labs look good.
