I was diagnosed with Hashi in February. My TPO at that time was < 1800. During a sonogram, the Dr. discovered a nodule on my right side measuring about 1.4 cm. I'm currently taking Armour Thyroid, 30mg. Today, six months later, she is redoing my TPO and Thyroid Panel. Upon another sonogram, she was hoping the new medication would shrink the nodule, but didn't. I now have a nodule on the left side and the one on the right is now measuring around 1.7 cm. She scheduled me for a fine needle aspiration biopsy. This being my first time, can anyone tell me about this procedure and if I have any need to worry about it.
Thanks in advance.
