TSH 18 but Free T3 2.35 Free T4 .8 Help!

Whoops, I didn't list my readings on the tests in question
My thyroid tests were the following

TSH 18     range            .3 to 3.0
T4 total 5.8 range           4.5 - 12.5
Free T4  .8   range          .07 to 2.0
Free T3  2.35   range       2.3 to 4.2

These ranges look different than some of what I see you are all posting but my info says these ranges are correct?
Do you all still think I should start taking synthroid again. Can't take Armor, I took it for 5 years with no problems with the exception of high anxiety that just increased until heart palps appeared 2 months ago. No longer have them but do seem to have a few other hypo symptoms now.

WELCOME TO THE THYROID COMMUNITY!  This is a great place to give, get, gain and share information and advice and maybe in the process you may make a friend or two along the way!

I am not too well versed in regard to your ? but many others I am certain will jump in to try and help you.  However, the TSH 18 does suggest Synthroid or similar I think as it is hypo .. but I'm a patient, not a dr of course :)

I wanted to stop by and [ wave ] hello and again, WELCOME to our COMMUNITY!

Yes, I think you should start taking Synthroid again.  Your free T4 and T3 are at the bottom of the range and your TSH is very high.  Make sure you get regular TSH tests after starting Synthroid to avoid the hyper symptoms you've had in the past from Armour.
