Good News
My GP's nurse called this morning.
She had the results from a thyroglobulin test my doctor ran. I didn't know he tucked it into the list of tests he ran.
It came back at 0.02!!!!!
Which means my thyroid is pretty much croaked, dead, pushing up daisies, non-functioning.
I didn't ask if he ran a TGab test at the same time. :-/
I don't care. It's dead.
I think...
Now, why couldn't the Endo do that?
Because she doesn't care.

I feel worn out from this morning's activity.
I feel GREAT knowing it is D E A D. Gone. Nuked.
The Endo said "If it doesn't work we can do it again in a year" when she gave me the RAI.
The surgeon said "if it doesn't work come back in a year and I'll operate".
Well, aparently it worked, and I am thrilled to not have to decide between living with 10% functioning or do RAI again.
That is behind me.
Now it's just a matter of getting my meds correct and healing up so I can get on with life.

Yeah AR!!!!!!!!! Now if you can get your levels optimum you can start healing. When was the last time you had a Free T3 run?

Maybe we should resume the thyroid pub and I'll buy a round for everyone celebrating the demise AR's thyroid!!! I like the New Orleans style funerals. Maybe we can adapt the pub in what is true thyroidian style, and have a send off fitting that gland that gave AR such a fit!...
K, so if someone just logged into this forum right now and read the above, they'd think we, but most of all *I*, am just plain CRAZY! K, so maybe sometimes I am, (but usually just when I'm off the meds).....lol
