Guys,

My cholesterol isbthrough the roof.  It's at 300.  I'm very thin, eat very well, exercise.  I am being told itsbfrom the hypothyroidism.  My question is, do you take cholesterol medicine?  How's it make you feel?

You don't find too many hypos Bruce that do not have abnormal cholestrol.

This is just any another sign you are not optimal - by far - at all - with your treatment.

It makes perfect sense with Sally's comment too. High cholestrol +hypothyroidism = inflammation.

Most of it is all there for you to prioritize getting this thyroid problem under control first.

Hi,

I know you are having trouble with your thyroid levels / medications.  However, maybe you need to try to get the thyroid levels more optimal.

have you tested your Vitamin D?  If this is low, it should be treated.

High cholesterol can also be a marker for chronic inflammation....  it's the body's way of responding.... maybe check into this further...
