Ugh! Since my hypo symptoms increased (leading to diagnosis) I experienced PMS. I'm normally one of those blessed women that bleed and have a little stomach upset. But then I started to bloat and just feel awful. Thanks for the post though. I was trying to figure out why I am feeling so awful today and yesterday. It's been a month already. Erg.
YES ... once they put me on synthroid for an unrelated reason ALL my symptoms went away!!!!! My OB was shocked. That was 2 yrs worth of awful PMS that they tried Zoloft with to no availa nd then ended up on Ativan 3 days a month ?? Go figure that one! Then when I ended up with thyroid surgery unrelated to the female stuffs, and went onto Synthroid it all went away and the doc just shook his head in disbelief and it's been 2 yrs.

I am usually a woman of many words...............
all I can say here is .............. YOU BET.
I found progestrone cream and Vit B's helping me.
I get intensely revolting PMS when I am normal let alone hypo! Axe murderer ain't got nothin' on me! As Jennifer said evening primrose oil works well. I take 2 a day all month...then I noticed I wasn't getting any where near as bad PMS. Till recently when I started going a bit hypo and then realised the EPO had expired in 2007!!! So ran out and got a new batch..
Hypo does slow the body right down in many many ways and the hormones released around ovulation time can go skew wiffy when hypo. Guess nature knows to keep the men away from us to help us cope! Hee hee.
I get alot more painful cramps and a lot more moodier now.Im hypot to...There is a big change in my PMS symptoms since In become hypot. Try evening primrose oil and vit.b6... It does take up to 3 months to feel the effect of them though!Thats the crappy part!
